New to the blogging world. Where to go from here?
I have hit the realm of 30 and, well, I'm trying to figure out where to go from here. I just gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy 10 months ago, definitely my greatest accomplishment which I know I will never be able to surpass nor will I ever feel any need to. But now that he is here, I feel like I am trying to find my way more now than I ever was before. I have done so much in my life that seems ever so small now. So I'm trying to take baby steps in figuring out what direction my life takes from this point forward.
I've been a teacher now for six years. I actually teach computer lab to kindergarteners, first graders and second graders. I know what you are thinking...but it is surprisingly a great fit for me and a job I take very seriously. That age level blows my mind daily, and it is amazing what they achieve throughout the three years that I have them. I've found some awesome activities to do with them which I plan to share since finding what you need online for this age group doesn't come nearly as easy as one would think.
Besides being a teacher and a mother and wife, I cannot say I have hobbies of any true consequence. Hence my confusion and my reason for beginning this blog. I plan to try something new each week, whether it be activities or recipes. I am hoping that by committing to writing my experiences that somehow, someway I will feel more confident in my skin and new possibilities will emerge for my future. Something good is bound to happen!
